I'm writing this blog from Ussa, a small town in Taraba State, Nigeria. The town isn't on most maps. The electricity isn't reliable. The data costs more than it should. But I have an internet connection, time, and the willingness to figure things out and that turns out to be enough.

What I do

I'm a freelance social media content writer. I run a Fiverr gig where I help small businesses with engaging social media posts for fitness brands, hair salons, restaurants, tech courses, and anyone else who needs words that sound human and convert.

I use AI tools as part of my workflow. I don't hide that. I use them the way a designer uses Canva or a photographer uses Lightroom as a tool that helps me do better work, faster. The judgment, the editing, the human voice that makes content actually feel like it was written by a person that's still me.

This is a real-time record of building a freelance business from zero in Nigeria.

I'm not a guru. I haven't made six figures online. I'm three weeks into my Fiverr account at the time of writing this, and I haven't received my first client yet. What I have is honest documentation every obstacle I hit, every workaround I find, every lesson I learn.
